Finally picked a bridesmaids dress!

On Tuesday I had a bit of a day out with my sister. She also happens to be my maitron of honor. Because that I will be having my dresses made for me to save on money we had to pick one rather soon. We planned the day out about a month ago because she is so hard to kidnap for a day.

I was really expecting it to be harder than it actually was. I'm far to picky trying to decide upon things like that for other people. For starters, I don't know what to think unless I see it on them. I find things that could be problematic for them that may or may not be so. We went to a full service bridal salon because I figured they have more experience than me at this sort of thing and their opinion and suggestions for what would look good would help us greatly.

We found the dress in about twenty minutes of being there. Jen tried it on and from there we decided the alterations that would have to made to make it our own. Now I'm just hoping that a picture will due justice to how it looked on her so it can be made to our liking.

I love it when things work out in such a timely manner. That is one more thing I can cross off of my super long list of things to accomplish or decisions to be made. Not to mention, I got a day out with my sister and future brother in law. We even had time to have lunch at a place I've been trying to find for about three years now!

In the last couple of years I have noticed that Tuesdays are my very best days. If I want things to work out for me I will plan it for a Tuesday and usually it does. If I want things accomplished, it is more likely to happen on a Tuesday. Even the first time he told me he loved me was on a Tuesday. Due to this fact, I asked work to start letting me have off on Tuesdays so that I can go meet with Jen and get things moving on this wedding.

Find your niche

When I decided to start this blog I started doing some reasearch. Which is better? Domain vs Blog? Free vs Paid. I have read several listings about how to start your blog and how to find what to blog about. In the end, I have spent more time researching that it has taken away from my original purpose. I hadn't started a blog.

A month later, here I finally am. The statement "find your niche" rang so loud in my mind and I have given it much thought. I'm a lover of so many hobbies and I'm not particularly good at really anything. I start something, love it for awhile and move on. I'm too spontanious in my loves that I don't have a single niche. My life is my niche. That is why I have named my blog "Love this Life."

I can't promise you that I will interest you greatly or teach you anything you don't already know, but you will get an idea of all the things I love. It's like the about me section on one of those mega million interaction sites like facebook or twitter. How often do you have to go back and revise because your about me section is now null and void.

So, to get us started... My name is Laura. I am 23, I have in my life some of the most wonderful people you could ever dream to meet. I have hard times and good times just like everyone else. I will be getting married in a few monthes. I'm still getting used to being called a mom. In five monthes half of what is so important for you to know could be comepletely different.

So, my decision is to make my blog an honest to goodness blog. This will be about my life, what my interests are at the current time, and for me an e-copy of my about me for at least this portion of my life.
It will be random because I am random. It may not always make sense, because life doesn't always make sense. But, YOU are invited along for the ride. Don't forget to buckle your seatbelt.

If I make you smile at least once then it will be worth the effort of keeping it going.
